According to Wikipedia a sustainable city, is a city designed with consideration of environmental impact, inhabited by people dedicated to minimize the use of energy, water and food, and production of heat, air pollution – CO2, methane and water pollution.

Sustainable Objective. To bring together stakeholders from the tourism sector, government regulatory agencies, resort-hotels, travel, transport and tourism related business industries, non-government organizations, civic clubs, the academe, as well as concerned individuals to enhance their knowledge on environmental responsibilities, best green experiences and Sustainable Tourism principles & practices.

Ecological Goal. To produce a comprehensive environmental conservation, Social Responsibility and Sustainable Tourism Initiatives not only for Negros Occidental, West Visayas but also the rest of the Philippines.

Greening Mission. It is envisioned that after the Forum, participants will enhance their knowledge and ability to contribute to protect the environment and promote green practices, knowing that these eco-friendly habits begin with each person.
